Connection with a Beautiful Future

Connecting with and sensing a beautiful future that has a substantial chance of coming to pass—a tangible future ahead. This is part of living in the present and connecting with yourself. Clearly, this is not a matter of effort or technique either; it is the result of natural connection. For example, a top high school student connects with and senses life after getting into Tsinghua, Peking University, Fudan, or Shanghai Jiao Tong University, or going abroad to study; a loving couple senses marriage and raising children; someone who is ill connects with and senses life after recovering their health. These are healthy, not unrealistic.

In Shawshank prison, why should someone who will be released next year get entangled with someone serving a life sentence?

Begin with the end in mind, and you will see that much of the effort you expend is unnecessary.

The people, things, and money destined to help me flourish will naturally flow toward me, and the people and things that work against me will naturally flow toward me too. The more relaxed and natural my own flow, the more naturally they flow. When I am tied in knots and stuck, they too are tied in knots and stuck. I follow the natural current, and I have always been whole, whole at every step.

All of this arises naturally. What is to come will come; let things take their natural course, and follow the course of fate.
